Ahead of the Apple iPhone 8 launch later in the year, the much-expected smartphone has been rumored to be coming packed with some top of the line specs more as the tech company this year will be celebrating its 10th Anniversary.
The iPhone 8 which is expected to make a debut with most likely another brand in the name of the iPhone X (X being a placeholder name) to mark the 10th anniversary of the tech company is said to be coming with an iris scanner and more integrations than ever, other tech analysts believe Apple might be looking to rework the design of the device which means we may not be seeing the usual design as seen in the iPhone 6, 6S and and the iPhone 7 variants.
However, recent leaks and rumors have suggested that the much-anticipated device will be coming with bigger upgrades including an OLED screen Display.
In line with the renovation of design, the iPhone 8 has also been said to be coming to market with a curved screen which will give the device an added advantage in the market.
Speaking on the iPhone 8, Wayne Lam of HIS Markit who spoke to MacRumors noted that the display on the iPhone 8 would most probably be a flat design similar to cast to that found on the iPhone 7.
The screen design, however, is expected to come into the market with a flat OLED design along with a layer of 2.5D glass protection. Apple’s feature of the OLED screen on the expected iPhone 8 will make the device the first of Apple’s products to spot the screen. Furthermore, there are rumors which indicate that Apple may be looking to release both the curved screen and flat screen variant of the iPhone 8 into the market for a more premium feel.
Apple is rumored to be devicing on improvements in the battery department as there have been rumors that the tech company might most likely load the device up with a larger battery as more enthusiasts have suggested the battery with a better IP68 rating with protection against water and dust.
Other improvements in the rumor mill include the Facial recognition and iris scanner feature which may most likely debut on the iPhone 8.
Other suggestions regarding the iPhone 8 reveal that the device may come into market sporting an interesting feature in the name of augmented reality.
