The Huawei Mate 9 came into the market as a head turner after it was launched last year. However, it took the tech company some months before it made the device available for public consumption after having unveiled it and whetted the tech market’s appetite. The availability of the device in the US which took some time has however been compensated as the tech company is looking into giving some freebies to its loyal customers who have stayed true to the brand.
The CES 2017 witnessed the unveiling of the Mate 9 from Huawei and the company at the event announced that it would be made available for Amazon and other retailers at a pricing starting at U$599.99.
It, however, looks like the device will be coming with some freebies according to some users as some of the Mate 9 smartphones have been reported to have hit the US market with a box full of useful accessories.
Users on the Android forum, XDA Developers Forum, revealed that the box of accessories which comes as a free package with the device contains a USB Type-C data cable, a micro-USB to USB Type-C adapter along with other accessories which include a wall charger, and a selfie stick.
The box can, however, be purchased for $15 through Amazon should the package fail to arrive with your order.
However, to be eligible for the free package, users will need to fill ou a survey form which can be found here. From the survey page, users will have to wait until they receive an email from Huawei USA which will contain the redemption code.
There is, however, one clause, users need to have a valid IMEI when filling out the survey.
