LG is still suffering from the major flop it encountered with the LG G5 device as the tech company is doing all within its capacity to bring the ship back on smooth waters. The release of the LG G6 ahead of Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, however, has done little to minimize the effect of the flawed job it did on the LG G5 as the tech company has been rumored to be bringing a more premium LG V30 to the market soon.
Recall that the tech company had used the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor on the LG G6 as against the latest Snapdragon 835 featured on the Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus device which was announced earlier in April.
New reports indicate that the smartphone company, true to its original promise that it will release a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 powered device in the year is planning a soon release for the LG V30 which might most likely feature a curved OLED display.
The new report indicates that the display panel to be used on the upcoming device will be much similar to those used in the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus variant which could potentially be huge for the tech company and help it in shaping the destiny of its profits.
Recall that LG had already tried changing the game with the 18:9 aspect ratio featured on the LG G6 device which although Sony bashed might pick up to be the baseline and default aspect ratio soon in the market.
