Alcatel Pop 4 vs. Pixi 4
Alcatel followed it usual modus operandi by releasing twin versions of their new smartphone which has become more of a signature move. The smartphone company further tagged the smartphones names which suggest more of children animation than what one would readily call a smartphone but away from this, the Alcatel Pop 4 and the Pixi 4 smartphones are pretty much alike in more ways than one.
The Alcatel Pixi 4 (6) packs on it some pretty cool specs including the large 6-inches screen with an IPS LCD. The resolution on the screen stands pegged at 1280 x 720 HD and a pixel density of 245ppi on the smartphone which measures165x83.3×8.3mm.
The Pixi4 (6) runs on the Qualcomm made Snapdragon 210 processor, the MSM8909, clocked at a speed of 1.1GHz. The quad-core processor is layered with the ARM Cortex-A7 along with an Adreno 304 for Graphics. Other specs packed on the one part Twin device include the 1GB of Ram and an 8GB of internal storage memory with support for up to 32GB of microSD card expandable memory. On the camera front, the smartphone boasts an impressive 8MP on the rear panel of other features including the autofocus, LED flash for lighting, geotagging, touch focus, HDR mode, panoramic capture and ability to capture 1080p video. The front-facing camera, however, comes with a 5MP snapper with support for LED flash.
Connectivity options loaded on the smartphone includes support for LTE, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct and Hotspot with the addition of Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, microUSB running on the Android 5.1 Lollipop device. The smartphone is ably powered by a 2,580mAh battery.
The Alcatel Pop 4, on the other hand, boasts a 5-inch screen with IPS LCD and a screen resolution of 180×720 at a pixel density of 294ppi.
The smartphone measuring 140.7 x 71.4 x 8mm runs actively on the Qualcomm made MSM8909 Snapdragon 210 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.1 GHz. The Quad-core processor is layered with ARM Cortex-A7 and Adreno 304 for Graphics. The smartphone like its twin runs on 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage memory which can be further expanded to up t 256GB using a microSD card.
On the camera front, just like its twin, the Alcatel Pixi 4, the Pop 4 boasts of an 8MP secondary camera with autofocus, LED flash for lighting, geotagging and an additional face/smile detection. Other features of the rear camera include the touch focus, HDR, panoramic capture and ability to capture 720p video. On the front panel, the smartphone packs a 5MP camera with LED flash for lighting and operated by Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The 2,500mAh battery powered device boasts of connectivity options including 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS and microUSB support.
