Apple iPhone 8
Apple’s 10th year anniversary has brought so many ideas to the minds of tech analysts and enthusiasts who believe the tech company is planning something amazing with the much expected iPhone 8 which is expected to be released to the market in the last quarter of the year, in line with its earlier release protocols.
There have been several rumors surrounding the much-expected device which according to leaks is expected to come packing some of the latest and best technologies the tech world boasts with. Much more recent leaks suggest that the Cupertino-based company is bringing the Touch ID sensor on the much-expected device although recent leaks did no justice on what more to expect.
The last leak, however, hinted that the tech company is working on something great regarding the camera as the leak suggests that the iPhone 8 might come into market sporting an improved camera and the Touch ID on the rear panel just below the camera.
The leak which surfaced on Weibo, China’s biggest social media platform, suggests that Apple may have finally settled for a rear-mounted Touch ID as against earlier speculations that the tech company is looking to integrate the feature under the home button of the much-expected device.
According to information, the tech company encountered series of problems in its aim to integrate the feature into the display and may have settled for the back panel integration as a last resort as the Touch ID has been one of the greatest features expected to come on the iPhone 8.
Analysts noted that Apple’s own AuthenTec had been faced with several technological setbacks which have backpedaled it, but the tech company itself is not looking to contract out its special features to third-party companies hence its decision to settle on some of the options it has on the ground.
The back panel integration, however, makes the design on the schematics look pretty amazing according to tech analysts as it comes in contrast to the horizontal dual lens camera set up which came on the iPhone 7 plus. The recent leak suggests that the iPhone 8 will come to market sporting a much different dual lens camera set up and the orientation will take the vertical axis as opposed to what was featured in the predecessor.
The body of the iPhone 8 also seems to be packing a surprise of its own as it is rumored that the iPhone 8 will come with an aluminum back panel as similar to what was found in the iPhone 5 and the iPhone SE Although the iPhone 8 will come with a much larger OLED display.
