Does My Teenager Need an Extra Cell Phone Charger?
“When I first bought my child a cell phone,” one cell phone customer said, “I expected to be able to reach him anytime, anywhere. After all, what’s the point of paying for a cell phone if I can’t use it to get in touch with my kid?” Well, we know the answer!
The problem was simple. No, he wasn’t ignoring his parents (um, we don’t think!). The child in question was a teenager who was constantly on the go. What teenager is not? Between school, sports, that part-time job, and hanging out with friends, he was gone from the house most of the day.
Unfortunately, he usually left his charger behind, because he only had the one bought with his phone. Being a typical teenager, he used the phone so much; it usually lost its charge before he made it back home. By the time his parents tried to call, or text to tell him it was time for dinner, his battery had already died. We’ve all been there.
The value of multiple cell phone chargers is unmistakable. Having one at home is a necessity, of course. But, many teenagers (and 100% of anyone owning a cell phone) need a portable charger to keep their battery going strong throughout the day.
For most, a car charger is the solution. For a small investment, you can empower your teenager to stay in touch wherever they go, because they can always plug their phone in between destinations.
For others, a portable charger with a decent sized cord is a better option. They can plug their phone in at school, at work, or at a friend house, so they always have enough of a charge to receive a call from home.
All kids today who are privileged enough to own a cell phone need an extra charger in order to keep in touch with their parents. Investing in a second charger can mean the difference between staying in touch and going straight to voice mail…plus, avoids getting screamed at when they get home.
