Fastest Processors
Who’s the Fastest in the West?
Who wouldn’t you choose a faster processor from a slow one; the better quad-core processor used the better service it provides. A GHz is the abbreviation for a gigahertz, a rate of frequencies that operates at one billion cycles per second. A computer with a 1.6 GHz can execute 1.6 billion cycles every second. This is an indication of how fast and powerful a computer is, since having more GHz means the computer can perform tasks faster.
Here’s a list of the fastest processors this 2013;
Samsung I9505 Galaxy S4 – 1.9GHz Quad-core Krait 300 is now the speediest mobile phone out in the market which released just last April 26.
Asus PadFone Infinity, LG Optimus G Pro, HTC One, HTC One X+ – 1.7GHz Quad-core,
The Asus PadFone Infinity and LG Optimus G Pro both features Android OS and the Qualcomm APQ8064T Snapdragon 600 and was released last April. HTC One also has the same OS and chipset, but was released a month earlier. THTC One X+ was released last 2012, November, which used a NVIDIA Tegra 3 AP37 chipset.
Samsung I9500 Galaxy S4, Meizu MX2, Samsung Galaxy Note II CDMA, Samsung Galaxy Note II N7100 – 1.6 GHz Quad-core
The I9500 S4 (Quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A15 and Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7) uses the Exynos 5 Octa 5410, unlike the I9505 which features the Qualcomm APQ804T Snapdragon 600. Meizu MX2 and Samsung Galaxy Note II CDMA/ N700 (Quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A9) also uses an Android Os.
Where’s the popular iPhone 5? But compared to the phones mentioned above the iPhone 5 have only a meager 1.2 GHz, especially S4’s 1.9 GHz Quad-core. In comparison to S4 alone, S4 has a bigger screen display, expandable memory, removable battery, NFC (quicker music transfer), etc
But the iPhone 5 has bested the Samsung Galaxy S4 in durability. In a certain drop test, both phones were subjected to a 10 foot drop. This Galaxy S4 suffered a shattered screen and a broken camera, and after awhile stopped working completely. The iPhone however, survived with some minor scuffs. Both did well in a water damage test.
It’s not like you’ll be purchasing a phone to just drop it off from a building though, but if you’re the clumsy type and still want the one with a better processor you should consider getting a good cover case for protection.
