Galaxy S8 6GB RAM Variant Hits US With Sad News
The upcoming smartphone from tech giant and South Korean company, Samsung has been making waves since the release of the Galaxy S7 device. However, as much is known about the upcoming device, there is a sad news in the rumor mill, and it would break users for the US market’s heart.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus variant which is expected to come into the market with 4GB of RAM has been reported to be coming to market in a more premium version in the form of the 6GB RAM version and the sad news is that the more premium version will not be featured in the US market.
The decision, however, shortchanges the US market in the productivity, performance and speed departments as the US market will not be getting the much faster Exynos 8895 processor variant and will also be stuck with the 4GB RAM version.
However, asides the RAM and the processor, the US Market will be getting pretty much the same thing as other markets, especially the Chinese market.
Other specs expected to be featured on the device, however, include the smart AI Assistant named Bixby, the possible fingerprint sensor, and a better camera as it has been rumored that the device will be able o capture up to 1,000 frames per second for video coverage.
Other perks to expect on the device includes a 3.7MP camera loaded on the front panel asides the expected 8MP camera for facial recognition. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus has also been rumored to be coming with integrations which will allow the use of fingerprint, iris and facial detection for user verification during mobile payments on Samsung Pay.
