Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus Fast Charge
Following the release of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus device into the market earlier in April, the smartphone has received several reviews overall proving its worth even as Samsung declared the sales statistics of the device is six times better than the performance of the Galaxy S7 which was released last year.
However, the Galaxy S8 has come into the market with several issues notable of which is the compatibility issues of some of the device with the Wireless Charging Pad.
The device which comes into the market with very potent batteries has however also been complained to have proven problematic in the aspect of its refusal to charge if the screen is kept on.
It has become a thing of knowledge that the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ won’t fast charge if the screen is on or when the device is being used, users have also complained that the fast charging notification continues to appear on their display status bar even when the device is charging at regular speed.
One thing, however, is that the Galaxy S8 comes with the same Fast Charging capability as found in the Galaxy S6 with tests conducted by Phandroid revealing that the Galaxy S8 device charges up to 100 in just 1 hour and 37 minutes while the screen was off.
However, the slow charge according to report may be attributed to the battery capacity as the Galaxy S8 comes into the market with a 3,000mAh battery and the S8 Plus with a 3,500 mAh battery.
