Google is Bringing the Pixel 2 to market
Following the release of the Google Pixel and the Pixel XL, there have been many talks in the tech world regarding what Google plans next to serve its loyal fans with. The fun of the Pixel X and Pixel XL was short lived after the introduction of both smartphones to confirm the end of the Nexus line. The buzz died as fast as possible after rumors revealed that Google had started work on the Pixel 2.
However, questions about the possible specs and what will be new on the Pixel 2 has been the talk of the Android community with regards to the Pixel line from Google; the tech company has however announced that it will be bringing the much-expected device to market soon.
The Senior Vice President of the search engine’s hardware department, Rick Osterloh, in a recent interview, revealed that the tech company is indeed working on the sequel to the Pixel Series in the form of the Pixel 2.He also confirmed that the Pixel 2 would stay premium which means the device will be sporting some top of the line specs and of course will not be gentle on the pocket.
The sequel to the Google Pixel line up is expected to sport premium design as well as great performance along with better features including the camera, building on the success of the Pixel X and the Pixel XL.
It is, however, unclear what Google might be planning to name the upcoming smartphone as some tech analysts are torn between the option of a Google Pixel X2 or the idea of the Google Pixel XL 2.
Overall, the Google Pixel 2 should come rolling into the market with significant improvement over the previously released models. The Pixel 2 could bring an upgrade to the design of the previous line models as fans have called on Google to bring not just the under the hood specs up to date but give a better design on the much-expected device.
Users have also indicated interest in having the microSD port come back in the much-expected version of the device which should be expected in the market soon.
