Huawei Honor

Huawei’s plans for the Honor series will come much more as a surprise for fans as the tech company has been working hard to gain much more access to the US market with rumors of its plans to work more with carriers in bringing more of its premium range of smartphones to the market.

In line with the rumored plans, the tech company which is planning on a successor to the Honor 8 device has been rumored to be making certain changes which will further make the device appealing and attractive to the US market. The successor to the Honor 8, the Honor 9 has however leaked online with the tech company opting for a design much similar to that adopted by Xiaomi in the production of its Mi 6.

The latest leaks of the Honor 9 however comes casting the device in an unusual light of Blue color variant, one of the cut-throat reasons why the leaks has sparked reactions as regards its authenticity with several analysts stating that the much-expected Honor 8 successor is most likely not expected to feature a design which has much more in common with the Xiaomi flagship device’s design.

The front panel on the latest leak of the Honor 9 device shows that the device sports an identical design to the Mi 6 with its front panel boasting of an elliptical-shaped home button (a physical home button integration), an earpiece port, and the front facing camera sensor.

The tie point, however, is the fact that the Honor 8 came into the market featuring a rather similar design except for a few changes made to the bottom front panel of the device and the physical home button which was located on the back.

As the tech world debates on the credibility of the recent leak of the successor device, the tech company itself refreshed the minds of its customers by releasing the Honor 8 Pro in some select regions of the world with the physical home button relocated to the front on the much-improved variant.

More updates that came with the recently released Honor 8 Pro include the integration of a ‘Smart Key’ which will allow users program various tasks for the button to perform. Much of the tasks which the button can be adapted to include the camera snap action, application launch or flashlight enabling capability.

Some other countries, however, got the Honor 8 Pro under a different name as Honor V9  with it looking way different regarding the dual camera setup and the LED flashlight from the recent leaks of the successor device, Honor 9.
