Huawei looks to have been caught in some lateness web regarding the roll out of the Android Nougat 7.0 OS as most of its devices have not received their updates. However, Google does not look to be concerned and bothered as the tech company some weeks ago released the developer version of the latest and much expected Android OS, 8.0, ‘O.’ However, the tech company, Huawei looks to be getting the early bird on the latest Android OS as it has been rumored to most likely be the first non-Google smartphone to sport the OS.
The tech company has reportedly started testing the latest OS version on its phones. However, the tech company decided to go with the Mate 9 as its choice for testing the OS update as the tech company looks forward to releasing the OS early enough as past of its move to improve market in the US
It is, however, necessary to note that the internal builds of the device lack in some major areas which means the device along with the upcoming OS may not be great. The Google Play store has been reported to have turned down functionality on the device while it ran on the Android ‘O’ OS.
The tech company was also revealed to be testing the OS upgrades in just two languages which mean it might not be making the OS available globally just yet. However, for English speaking and understanding persons, you have no worries as the tech company is testing in English and Chinese languages for the OS.
