Lenovo Phab 2 Pro
Lenovo seems to have entered into a redefinition stage as the tech company did its best to impress the market, tech analysts, reviewers and others with its tablet which became some sensation after its release.
The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro made an entrance into the market at a time when festive buyings would have started early and thus made for a great buy for the tech company who seem to have targeted its audience to the last detail.
The Phab 2 Pro, however, came into the market with the brand name and yet another nomenclature, the world’s first Tango Smartphone. The smartphone along with other features embedded on it sports the tech advancement from Google’s team with the incorporation of Tango.
The smartphone officially makes the first commercial product from Google’s Tango team who has been working on implementing machine vision in mobile devices.
For specifications, the smartphone bears a camera and sensor setup which has been modified and tweaked to enable motion tracking along with other functions including depth perception, and area learning. The incorporated improvements are to lend credibility and support to the augmented reality (AR) applications fitted on the smartphone including the indoor navigation, search, and gaming.
Other specs mounted on the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro include the whopping but the not seemingly large 6.4-inch screen with a QHD IPS display. The smartphone beats its chest high and loud boasting of four cameras, with an 8MP front-facing a camera and a 16MP rear RGB camera. Along with these two are the depth-sensing infrared camera with an “imager” and also an emitter and the fourth camera, motion tracking camera.
Under the hood which measures 179.8×88.5×10.7mm and weighs 259 grams is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 Soc. The octa-core processor built for Tango is coupled with 4GB of RAM and an onboard storage size of 64GB which supports expandable storage via microSD card to up to 128GB.
The Phab 2 Pro which is powered by a 4,050 mAh battery is a dual-SIM device which supports two Nano-SIMs and is available in the Champagne Gold color. The battery according to the manufacturer is expected to last about 15hours and integrated with support for fast charging.
On the audio platform, Lenovo fitted the smartphone with the Dolby Atmos audio technology for its speakers, and the Dolby Audio 5.1 Capture technology for recording 3D sound all running on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow powered device.
At the smartphone’s announcement, the Director, Marketing of the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro said: “Lenovo has always been at the forefront of innovation bringing differentiated products to consumers.
