LG G5 Nougat
Following the release of the LG G6 earlier in the year with the tech company making the device available weeks after it was announced officially, being the first smartphone to feature the 18:9 aspect ratio, the tech company has revealed that it is not yet dumping users of the predecessor of the device, the LG G5.
LG which announced its plans to release a mini version of the LG G6 has further dazzled its fans by bringing the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS update to the LG G5.
The device will be getting the Android OS update along with the unlocked version of it in the US starting from last week. The update rollout, however, comes on the heels of Samsung’s decision to hook its users, especially the Galaxy S7 users up with the goodies which come with the update.
The update to the LG G5 will, however, be available for download over the air and some other users may need to hook their device up to their PCs like in the case of some Samsung users.
However, before stressing yourself to connect via the PC, you should first check the update push on your smartphone by accessing the Settings icon and proceeding to check for updates.
Also, you may want to set up a powerful Wi-Fi connection first before attempting to download the update to ensure the smooth sailing of your update download.
