LG G6 Available
The following release of the LG G6 at the Mobile World Congress 2017 which held in February at Barcelona, the tech company which released the device on pre-order has opened the floodgates or the device to enter into the tech market.
Recall that the tech company was said to be bringing the LG Pay with the LG G6y device although it indicated that the payment service feature would be limited locally to the Korean market as it perfects the application for an international launch.
Coming after the announcement of the world’s first 18:9 aspect ratio device, the tech company has brought the LG G6 to Verizon Wireless which means the device is now available for purchase from the carrier company.
However, the availability on Verizon Wireless gives the carrier a timed exclusive edge over other carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint who will be getting the device much later but not until Friday, April 7th.
Taking into cognizance that the pre-orders of the device have started shipping in which is a bit early and welcome development, LG is bringing the promotion which gives users free Google Home with every purchase of the LG G6 device.
Verizon Wireless chipped in more icing to the cake by offering a sweet deal of a free 43-inch smartTV into the list of freebies for customers who register for a new line, device payment plan, and Verizon Unlimited. The offer is redeemable on the carrier’s website.
The device, however, comes bearing a retail price of $672 or for a payment package at $28 per month for a period of 24 months.
In comparison to the much-expected flagship device from Samsung, the LG G6 features a super slim bezel design as found on the Galaxy S8 device both on the top and bottom area with a 5.7-inch screen. Although not running on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset like in the Galaxy S8, the LG G6 boasts of decent specs with a front mounted and rear camera like most other smartphones in the market.
