LG Pay
The South Korean tech company, LG has introduced the LG Pay, and it’s more than what people might have expected as the tech company is moving on introducing a physical card which can be used by customers.
It was known that the tech company had its mind set on taking on the likes of Android Pay, Apple Pay and Samsung Pay for a run with the introduction of its latest move but it was not confirmed until the tech company introduced it into the market.
LG according to new report will be using its latest device, the LG G6 to launch the LG Pay which is the mobile payment system banked on by the tech company.
The LG Pay is expected to come fully on the board come June, but the excitement surrounding the payment system is marred by the fact that the tech company will not be bringing the payment system update to the US just yet.
The LG Pay according to the tech company will be limited to owners of the LG G6 device located in Korea, the company’s home country.
The services provided by the LG Pay will, however, be similar to that offered by Samsung Pay which means your LG G6 device can serve the purpose of a credit card when held next to a credit card terminal.
The tech company has also confirmed that the LG Pay will be coming to other devices soon although the specifics surrounding the roll out is yet unknown.
Speculations, however, indicated that the tech company will be bringing the feature to other regions soon but is using Korea as its testing ground to correct glitches which might be encountered.
