Motorola Moto Z2 Play
Motorola has promised its fans several many smartphones in the new year including the successor to the Motorola Z Play which was one of the budget phones of 2016 by many accounts. The Moto Z Play came with the stock experience, well, at least, nearly the stock experience with the addition of the Moto Mod compatibility along with the massive battery, 3,510 mAh capacity, which was loaded on the device which according to rating can power the device for as long as 50 hours.
The battery was something which came at a point when fans had almost given up on the OEM in terms of the battery capacity loaded on its devices, but latest renders which surfaced online has indicated that the successor to the device, the Moto Z2 Play will be coming into the market with better features and design including a slimmer body which reportedly makes it 20g lighter than the predecessor.
VentureBeats’ Evan Blass disclosed that the Moto Z Play’s successor, the Z2 Play will come into the market with a 3,000mAh battery which is substantially lower compared to what was fitted under the hood of its predecessor. The battery, however, was reported to last just a little over 30 hours as against the 50 hours mark attained by the predecessor device.
However, other specs as reported by Blass who had access to the Z2 Play include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 chipset loaded under the hood along with 4GB of RAM and a 64GB onboard storage memory space.
On the design, the Moto Z2 Play will come into the market with a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED Display along with a crisp screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 and on the camera front come with a 5-megapixel front camera for selfie and video calling while the primary camera will be a 12MP sensor loaded on the back panel and fitted with “dual autofocus pixels”.
