HMD Global has been trying to bring the Nokia brand back from the dead by staying one step ahead in the release and production of its latest range of Android-powered smartphones. The tech company which entered into a partnership with Nokia after it got dumped by Microsoft following the failed partnership on the Nokia Lumia series has since seen good returns on its investment in the Nokia Android business.
In line with this, the tech company promised to release a range of smartphones into the market this year with the floor opener being the Nokia 6 device which was widely accepted by the tech market being the first Android-powered device from the tech company known for its quality materials. Following the release of the Nokia 6 device, the tech company further hinted that it would be resurrecting some of its old phones with the rebooted Nokia 3310 starting up the file.
Following that, the tech company hinted the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 8 and a more premium Nokia 9 expected to feature top of the line technological advancement and specs including the latest Snapdragon 835 chipset.
In line with this, the premium Nokia 9 which has been rumored to be coming into the market with the Nokia 8 has surfaced online with sketches giving an idea of what the tech company is planning regarding the schematics and design.
The leak which surfaced online suggests that the upcoming smartphones will sport small bezels in line with the latest designs featured on the new range of smartphones.
The device is also according to the latest leak which should be taken with a pinch of salt expected to feature dual camera set up on the back panel and a square corner for design.
The device is anticipated to feature a fingerprint scanner which is mounted under the home button as against earlier speculations that the tech company might mount the sensor on the back panel just under the camera sensor.
Sketches for the Nokia 9 which surfaced online further hints that the device will sport a 5.5-inch display set up with an incorporated iris scanner and a screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixel.
The device according to tech analysts may come to market for as much as $699 although there is no official news or word yet on what the pricing of the Snapdragon 835 SoC powered device might be.
Under the hood of the device is an expected octa-core processor clocked at a speed of 2.5GHz along with the Adreno 540 graphics processing unit.
On the RAM front, the device is expected to pack as much as 6GB of RAM with an internal storage size of 128GB and a camera sensor of 22.1MP, dual-camera sensor to be precise on the rear panel with a 12MP setup on the front panel for selfies and video calling.
