Nokia To Release New Devices
- Nokia Teases Possibility Of Unveiling Another Smartphone Come Feb. 26
Nokia seems to be ready to take the market by storm as the Nokia 6 smartphone proves to be the tip of the iceberg with Nokia’s possible next flagship, the Nokia 8’s leak online. However, against the Nokia 8’s release, Nokia seem to be in the works fro a toned down version of the Nokia 6 which it names the Nokia E1.
The Nokia E1 is, of course, a lower specs version of the Nokia 6 and features a metal unibody design which suggests plenty f specs expected to be packed into it. Recall that Nokia went big on the Nokia 6 as it packed n impressive 4Gb of RAM and a large internal memory space coupled with the 16 MP front and rear snapper. The Nokia E1 according to reports will fall in line with HDM’s move to keep the Nokia 6 in China which means other regions may not be getting the Nokia E1 anytime soon.
Specs wise, the mid-range Nokia E1 is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.4GHz. The quad-core processor is laced with an Adreno 308 GPU which runs the show and packs a sidekick of 2GB RAM for a juicier show. On the internal storage memory, Nokia in partnership with HDM decided it best to load up a16GB onboard storage on the 5.2-inch to 5.3-inch display screen. Camera wise, the smartphone goes big with a 13MP rear snapper and a 5MP front facing camera.
There has been another device in the woods of Nokia’s storeroom teased to be the Nokia D1C. The smartphone made major entrance online in December with the leak of major information regarding what to expect. This comes on the heels of Nokia’s anticipated big plans to launch a smartphone in January. However, Nokia chose the option of unveiling the Nokia 6 which means the D1C is still in the works and speculations hold that Nokia may be looking to unveil the device later in February at tehMWC event.
The Nokia D1c which was tipped online by a leaker is however not the only wok in progress smartphone from the tables of HDM and Nokia as another source revealed that Nokia might be looking to release as much as six to eight Android-powered smartphones in 2017.
