OnePlus 5
The OnePlus 5 has been the topic of debate for moths ahead of its official announcement as there was an earlier debate as regards the naming of the smartphone especially as the predecessor device comes to market with the OnePlus 3 and 3T name.
The tech company which is expected to release the much-expected device has tried its best to keep a close tight lid on what to expect on the device, but according to leaks which surfaced online, the smartphone will come into the market sporting top of the line specs.
Recall that the Chinese tech company was reported to have skipped the much debated OnePlus 4 as the Chinese belief attaches bad luck with the number 4.
As the specs sheet of the much-expected device surfaces online, we can’t but applaud how far the tech company which made an official debut about four years ago has come to become. The OnePlus 5 which is the main flagship device of the tech company according to the rap sheet will come into the market sporting 8GB of RAM, a feat which was earlier rumored to be coming on the much expected Samsung Galaxy S8 but never saw the light of the day.
More specs expected to be featured on the device according to TechnoBuffalo includes a single lens camera sensor mounted on the back panel clocked at 23 megapixel which comes in negation to earlier reports that the tech company might be looking to release a dual camera set up for the OnePlus 5.
Additional information regarding the OnePlus 5 reveals that the device will come sporting as much as 4,000 mAh battery capacity along with the latest octa-core processor from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 835 processor clocked and a speed of 2.5GHz, same as featured on the Samsung Galaxy S8 which was officially unveiled in April.
The device along with the whopping 8GB of RAM will come into the market with an onboard storage memory of 64GB which can further be expanded using a microSD card. Other specs include the 5.5-inch display which boasts a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and connectivity options to include Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C port.
For the OS, the device will run on the latest Android OS, Nougat with the latest Oxygen OS layered on top.
