Samsung Foldable
Samsung has been rumored to be building a foldable device as from last year, and it looks like the tech company will beat its counterpart, LG to the production of the device which we are truly excited to see.
Recall that Samsung had filed a patent on the device which suggests that the tech company may have succeeded in making a prototype which will, in turn, serve as the real deal in the tech market once released.
Samsung’s aim at the foldable smartphone has however been a source of major controversy online as many tech enthusiasts have tried to conceptualize the design of the smartphone along with the foldable nature, especially the bezels.
Some tech analysts, however, revealed that the device would be expandable to as much as a tablet when needed and on other occasions, it may be foldable to as much as a 5.7-inch.
The talk about the Galaxy X device has however shifted further as it appears that Samsung is going forward with its production even as the tech world awaits the Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus device.
A new report regarding the foldable smartphone indicated that the device would most likely be launched later in the year in China around the third and fourth quarter in the year. However, the report coming from China is unconfirmed and should be taken with a pinch of salt as there is no concrete evidence surrounding the release of the Samsung Galaxy X device.
The report, however, failed to indicate what to expect regarding design and specs of the much anticipated Galaxy X device along with its possible pricing.
However, what we know so far is that the handset made by the South Korean company will be the first foldable smartphone to hit the market.
Other known information includes rumors that the device will come sporting a 4K display screen which can be folded based on prototypes which have surfaced online.
