Samsung Galaxy S8 DeX Station

Samsung ahead of the unveiling of its upcoming smartphone, the Galaxy S8, and the S8 Plus variant has released one of the accessories which were earlier discussed to be coming with support for the device.

Samsung has thus released the Samsung DeX Station which allows users to connect their Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus to the dock for use as a desktop computer.

Samsung in the announcement made noted that the docks come packing an HDMI port along with 2 USB ports. The Samsung DeX station also comes with a USB Type-C connector as a means of connection to power for the DeX Station.

The company, however, failed to reveal the price of the device as it unveiled it officially over the past week. No official word was uttered until more recently when the company released that the device dock will retail for $149.99 for pre-orders.

The price, $149.99, is, however, exclusive of shipping cost which is dependent on quite some factors including region, etc.
