Samsung looks to be on a greater path for 2017 as ahead of the official launch of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus devices, the smartphone company which had some weeks ago teased a new processor; the Exynos 8895 has given the detailed information of its new processor.
The processor which is expected to head out with the Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus was revealed days before the official start of the Mobile World Congress 2017. Samsung according to information has started mass production of the chipset which is expected to take the tech market by storm regarding the speed and performance rating. The SoC from Samsung has also been touted to be great regarding power management.
Based on the recent news in the tech world, the new processor is expected to roll out sometime in April with the much awaited Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus which have been popular in the tech world since the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco.
The latest Samsung SoC, however, comes to market bearing the octa-core brand as the South Korean tech company took advantage of the of 10-nanometer FinFET technology to is the greatest advantage. The chipset according to ratings boasts of up to 27 percent increased performance with 40 percent less power consumption.
The chipset is also great for Graphics as would be made evident in a variant of the Galaxy S8 device. The Exynos 8895 is boosted to reduce the latency of 4K VR as the processor supports as high as a 28MP camera fitted with a dual image signal processor.
However, the Exynos 8895 SoC will not be making a major appearance in US market as the chipset will be replaced in the much expected Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset which is the latest and fastest chipset in the market.
Recent rumor surrounding the Galaxy S8 hold that the device will come bearing a 3,000mAh battery while the S8 Plus variant will bear the 3,500 mAh battery along with fingerprint sensor which will most likely be mounted on the back or under the screen.
Recent leaks of the device show that the device may come bearing an iris scanner on the top bezel which has been thinned down to accommodate for a larger screen area. On the camera front, the device is expected to pack a 12MP rear facing the camera and on the front panel a 5MP camera for selfie and video calling.
Other information about the Galaxy S8 device reveals that the device may be coming with a faster wireless charging technology than those who have been witnessed in older versions along with the incorporation of the Samsung Smart Assistant named Bixby. Bixby has been rumored to be coming into the market to blow Apple’s Siri out of the water with Google’s Alexa being its major rival.
The pricing of the device has since been speculated upon as most tech analysts have pegged the Galaxy S8 Plus variant to sell for s much as $1,050 while the S8 is most likely to be available for about $950.
