Samsung Showcases the C5 Pro During An Event In China
Samsung is in the market for more premium devices as the smartphone company unveiled its latest device ahead of the Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus’ release. The South Korean tech company unveiled the Galaxy C5 Pro during an event held by the tech company, the Samsung Forum 2017.
The event which held in China is according to latest reports a mid-range device which is expected to be made global very soon according to the tech company. The mid-range smartphone was unveiled in the Black color variant and is expected to also come in other color options including Blue, Champagne Gold and the more premium Rose Gold option.
The Galaxy C5 Pro device which has prior to its unveiling been seen from some leaks which had earlier surfaced online was rumored to be coming into the market with some great specs, and upon unveiling the device, it sure came with a metal body and as an added option, Samsung loaded it with a new antenna design on the rear panel.
The Galaxy C5 Pro comes into the market with a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 1080pixels.
Under the hood, the Galaxy C5 Pro comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage size with an added option of increasing the onboard storage size to as much as 256GB using a microSD card.
The Galaxy C5 Pro comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 chipset which is equipped with eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores and clocked at a speed up to 2GHz.Along with the Qualcomm processor comes the Adreno 506 graphics processing unit for better delivery.
On the camera front, the Galaxy C5 Pro comes to market with 16MP cameras on both the front and rear panel and is powered by a 3,000mAh battery.
Rumors, however, hold that the device which is expected to roll out into the market soon will be coming loaded with LED flash and autofocus added to the 16 MP rear-facing camera. The selfie snapper, however, also a 16MP camera is also rumored to be coming with same specs which are exactly unusual for the tech company.
The 16MP camera loaded on, however, comes in line with Samsung’s promise to upgrade the cameras coming on its mid-range smartphones in the next devices as there had been many complaints from users about the camera quality of the mid-range devices released by the South Korean tech company.
The Galaxy C5 Pro is expected to ship out with the latest Android OS, 7.0 Nougat loaded on out of the box and is said to be coming to the market at a possible pricing of about $362.
