Sony is making good on their promise to fans in the new year as the tech company back in March announced a new smartphone to keep the tech world, and its fans satisfied pending the time it makes yet another appearance in the news.
The tech company which released the budget phone right in time for the tech market and its fans to make a possible switch has made another big step regarding the Sony Xperia L1 which was launched some months ago.
Sony announced that the smartphone would finally make its way into the destination market, the United States, as it has been made available on e-commerce websites, Best Buy and Amazon.
The implication of the move, however, is that you can conveniently buy your device from this e-commerce website without fears.
Recall that at launch, the mid-ranger was announced to come into the market sporting pretty good specs for its price as it comes loaded with a 5.5-inch display which boasts of a 720-pixel resolution and under the hood has the MediaTek MT6737T chipset running coupled with a smart choice of 2GB RAM.
For the onboard storage memory, the device comes with the market sporting 16GB of expandable storage memory and is powered by a 2,620mAh battery. The battery loaded on is however fitted with the capacity to support Sony’s Qnovo Adaptive Charging.
On the front camera, the device sports a 5MP camera on the front panel which is equipped with a 24mm wide-angle lens while on the rear panel, it comes packing a 13MP which is equipped with features which include autofocus, ISO of 3200, and as much as 3x Clear Image Zoom.
For the pricing, Sony is offering the device for just $200 although it could be lower should Amazon pick interest in it and offer to serve it up with ads layered on top.
