There have been many rumors surrounding the release of the LG G6, the next flagship device from the company to succeed the LG G5 which did not make the desired impact in the tech market. The company has been said to be dumping the modular design which was confirmed in leaks of the smartphone which hit the tech world before the official announcement which is expected to come later in February at the Mobile World Congress which will hold in Barcelona.
However, more recent rumors suggest that the smartphone may not be hitting the market with the much expected waterproof design as against earlier leaks which had suggested that the smartphone’s design will incorporate waterproof and dustproof features in it.
The recent leak which lends credibility to the absence of the waterproof feature shows the LG G6 in a waterproof case which makes no sense for a waterproof smartphone, however, much f the rumors are yet unconfirmed by the smartphone company which has kept a tight lid on information regarding the saprt0hone ahead of its official release at the MWC 2017.
The company is however pretty much excited ahead of the launch of the smartphone as t has sent another invite out to show off its latest flagship device. The latest invitation to the press conference at the MWC 2017 hinted on a few things which have caused several reactions among tech analysts and enthusiasts.
The latest invitation from the tech company stated that the G6 is the next generation smartphone which puts so many questions in the mind of fans as to the credibility of the leaks which have earlier surfaced. The hint also brings to play the rumors that the next flagship device from LG may be the first Non-Pixel smartphone to run the Google Assistant feature as it remains highly unlikely that the smartphone company had been in the works for its AI assistant.
As the wait thins ahead of the official launch of the smartphone, a quick recap of all we know from rumors and leaks of the LG G6 holds that the smartphone will come packing a fingerprint sensor for security along with other features including the 18:9 aspect ratio and the possibility of a glass and metallic build design for added beauty. LG is said to be keeping the 3.5mm jack on the 5.7-inch screen device which boasts of a resolution of 2880x1440pixels.
