Other useful futures offered by the application includes; timer screenshot, webcam shots and also allows users to control how often the screenshots of their progress are taken. The application comes with an added privacy and security feature which allows users add blur to their screenshots. The key, however, is setting your parameters right then get back to work.

The desktop version of the application can be found on the status bar for quick use, and the timer can be stopped using the “stop Tracking” option in case you need to take a break from work.

Added to these is the ability to take screenshots of work progress from every 5 minutes which is the minimum interval to every hour. One of the greatest parts however its availability on virtually all platforms including Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone and the Android platform.

The DeskTime provides a suitable option for time tracking for managers and remote teams and comes with a desktop version which is capable of working offline meaning the application can gather information locally pending the time your connection is restored and also comes with technical support with the ability to create projects right from one’s desktop page.

However, a few snags of the application include its lack of hotkeys for desktop control of the web timer. Added to this, the application counts some websites that could be for work as neutral or social.

Freckle

The application is based on one principle which is to simplify your time tracking process and experience. Freckle comes with a timer just as in any other time tracking application but the significantly different part, however, the ability to add manual entries is. In starting a new project on the application, you need to fill a form with three basic demands; deadline for your work, project type and the description of your project. With these credentials entered on the top bar of every page, you can select the date, adjust the time spent, select projects of importance and guess what? It allows for hashtags too. The hashtags, however, help in locating projects which is a crafty little integration into the application with space to add an unlimited number of projects and get reports in PDF, Excel, and CSV formats as much as you want

It is, however, available at a pricing plan for organizations including the $199/month, for teams at $49/month, and for enterprise at $499/month.
