Updates On The Huawei P10 & P10 Plus
Huawei seems to be on a timer with the Huawei P10 and the P10 Plus smartphones which are expected to replace its predecessor, the P9 smartphone. Although the Huawei P9 was packed with fairly impressive specs, the P10 and P10 Plus look like they’ll catch much more than the eye upon release.
There have been increasing rumors as to when the smartphones will possibly launch and with all speculations and projections pointing at Spring of 2017. The smartphones which pack bits and pieces of impressive specs are set to offer high performance along with sleek design and Huawei seem to be going over the top to incorporate a premium exterior which will pack a dual sensor camera on the back panel.
Huawei’s dual sensor camera is however expected to be one of the best as the smartphone manufacturer is getting Leica on the next flagship device to churn out what will be a great successor to the P9 wonder.
The firm is, however, deciding its bit to make a Plus variant going in line with Samsung and Apple, however, emulating more of Samsung’s design, Huawei according to the chairman and CEO of the company’s consumer division, Yu Chengdong noted that the variants of the device might come in both flat and curved screen version, the design which we can’t wait to lay gaze upon.
The devices which are both expected to witness an official launch in March or April of 2017 will go head to head with LG’s planned G6 and Samsung’s comeback device, the Galaxy S8. Other smartphones which will make for possible competition for the Huawei wonder include Nokia’s next Android flagship rumored to be the Nokia 8 and HTC’s next big thing.
The Huawei P10 and P10 Plus both pack impressive features including sport a 5.5-inch screen with QHD display which is expected to run on the HiSilicon Kirin 960 chipset. Added to the much-expected next big thing from Huawei, the smartphone will sport snapper made by Leica which has been speculated to be a 13Mp rear snapper and a front snapper of 8MP on the front panel of improved design P10.
Coupled with these specs will be a whopping 6GB of RAM under the hood with an internal storage memory of 256 GB which indicate that Huawei is going big on the device. The smartphone will also feature the latest Android OS 7 Nougat with a custom Huawei’s EMUI on top.
Other rumors on the possible tech to be expected on the smartphone include the possible incorporation of a wireless charging technology which will make the P10 and the P10 Plus the first smartphones from the manufacturer to feature the technology. Huawei may also be looking to sport a metal body design on the smartphone which will according to fears expressed by tech analysts clash with the expected wireless charging feature. However, all these remain speculations until the company formally confirms this or a reliable leak surfaces online to confirm or deny the speculations.
