Withings teases New announcement, Nokia, Others to follow at MWC 2017
Nokia had spelled a big game since the beginning o f 2017 when it went big to the CES 2017 with the unveiling of the Nokia 6 device where it was sold out in the first minute when introduced on JD.com, a Chinese e-commerce store.
The company has been said to be working on a full range of Android-powered device after tasting the success of the Nokia 6 which gathered about two hundred and fifty thousand registrations in twenty-four hours after it was officially unveiled. The Nokia 6 proceeded to gather as much as over a million registrations in three weeks before its official release into the market which further solidifies the success of the company. However, it came as a sad news when HDM Global announced that the device would only be available for the Chinese market.
Apparently, to make up for the selective availability of the Nokia 6, the tech company was rumored to be planning a release of about three more devices including the latest addition of the legendary Nokia 3310 reborn.
Knowing that the devices will get officially unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2017 is however not enough to calm tech enthusiasts as a new tweet from Withings has pointed to the possibility of unveiling a new wearable at the event scheduled to hold in Barcelona.
Withings on its Twitter page mentioned that it would be joining Nokia at the Mobile World Congress in just under a week to make a significant announcement in which tech lovers sure don’t want to miss.
The tweet, however, does not provide a whole array of information as to what to expect at the announcement during the Mobile World Congress, but there have been several speculations as regards what the tech company may be planning for the tech world. It is however not hard to imagine that it could launch a wearable alongside its parent company at the event.
